TMG Global has been awarded a new Mist AP and Access Layer Switch Survey Project across multiple facilities nationwide, marking another strategic win in the company’s expanding portfolio of national technology initiatives. This engagement will involve conducting detailed AP and network readiness site surveys across more than 440 sites, providing critical data to support future Mist AP deployments and network modernization efforts.
The project scope includes the creation of comprehensive, annotated floor plans using advanced tools such as Magicplan and Ekahau AI Pro to document existing access point (AP) placements, identify end-of-life (EOL) switches, and evaluate cabling and enclosure conditions. The resulting documentation will include heat maps, floor plan exports, and predictive modeling designed to optimize coverage, performance, and future wireless efficiency.
TMG’s field and remote technical teams will collaborate closely throughout the process, capturing onsite data, verifying IDF conditions, mapping APs, and generating predictive survey models – ensuring each site meets readiness requirements and provides accurate insights for the next phase of Mist AP implementation. The project reinforces TMG Global’s reputation as a trusted partner for enterprise network and wireless modernization, combining technical precision with a streamlined, data-driven approach that supports future infrastructure growth across the region.
This project serves as a foundational step toward a next-generation wireless ecosystem, one that leverages AI-driven insights, real-time analytics, and cloud-managed infrastructure to deliver faster, more reliable, and more intelligent connectivity. By conducting detailed Mist and Access Layer Switch surveys, TMG Global is helping to lay the groundwork for smarter, more adaptive networks that can scale seamlessly with future technology needs.
These advancements go beyond simple upgrades because they enable improved user experiences, stronger network resilience, and enhanced visibility across the entire wireless environment. The resulting infrastructure will allow facilities to respond dynamically to demand, optimize coverage in high-traffic areas, and streamline network management through automation and centralized visibility.
“This initiative represents another example of how TMG continues to evolve alongside our clients’ technology needs,” said Steve Mohr, Founder and CEO of TMG Global. “Our team’s ability to deliver accurate, scalable, and actionable data across hundreds of sites ensures our clients are equipped with the insights they need to modernize confidently and plan strategically for what’s next.”
