TMG Global, a leading provider of IT integration and consulting services, is excited to announce it’s successful collaboration with high school student interns from the Ashtabula County Technical & Career Center (A-Tech) in a technology deployment project.

TMG Global closely collaborated with student interns from A-Tech’s IT Academy to deploy advanced technology solutions for the new patient care tower at the Ashtabula County Medical Center (ACMC), scheduled to open in late June. This collaboration not only marks a significant milestone in the project’s timeline but also provided invaluable experiential learning opportunities for the A-Tech students.

The program has provided student interns with practical, hands-on experience, equipping them with real-world skills and knowledge that will contribute to their future success. Furthermore, the interns have played a vital role in deploying advanced technology solutions, thereby enhancing the technological infrastructure of the Ashtabula community.

Key highlights of the project include:

• Secured Staging Space and Network Setup: TMG Global, along with the A-Tech interns, established a secure onsite staging area and network infrastructure, ensuring a seamless deployment process.
• Receiving and Inventorying: The team, including the A-Tech interns, completed the receiving and inventorying of all necessary equipment, setting the stage for an efficient deployment.
• Deployment of Various Equipment: TMG Global, supported by the A-Tech interns, deployed a range of equipment including Capsa Arms, Capsa Carts, PCs, Monitors, WOW Carts, Telephone Handsets, Printers, Surge Protectors, Desktop UPS, and more across multiple floors of the new tower.
• Patching and Documentation: All devices were patched into data ports, and the team meticulously documented all data port locations, tracing them back to the Main Distribution Frame (MDF) onsite.
