TMG Global has successfully completed a critical switch migration replacement project for a major hospital on Florida’s East Coast and several smaller sites in the Central Florida Region. The project included the management, staging, and installation of lifecycle switches, replacing legacy equipment with the latest Cisco 9300 switches.
At the hospital campus, TMG Global led the entire migration process, coordinating the installation of 157 switches during approved change control windows. For the Central Florida locations, TMG Global installed 35 switches, managed the preparation and decommissioning, while the client’s team performed the actual migrations.
Project Highlights:
- Replacement of legacy switches with Cisco 9300 models across multiple locations
- Switch migrations led by TMG Global at the major hospital
- TMG Global managed the staging and decommissioning for Central Florida locations, with client-led migrations
- Weekly internal and customer-facing status reports and executive summaries
- Comprehensive documentation, including switch inventories, installation records, and rack elevations
- Seamless switch distribution and installation across the campuses
- Day 1 support provided to ensure smooth post-migration operations
