TMG Global, a leader in IT integration and consulting, proudly announces the successful completion of a significant technology refresh across five hospitals in Colorado. This extensive project aimed to upgrade and modernize the technological infrastructure, ensuring the hospitals can operate with improved efficiency and reliability.
Upgrading and Modernizing the Tech
The project team adopted a parallel approach to minimize downtime, employing a systematic method for migrating network switches within each rack. This process ensured efficient utilization of rack space while minimizing disruptions to network connectivity.
Replacement of Switches and Cable Patching
Throughout all hospitals, the team replaced switches and conducted extensive cable patching. This included the installation of approximately 17,600 feet of patch cables and the deployment of around 369 switches.
Migrating the Entire Network in Hospital Acquisition
In addition to the switch refresh, TMG Global managed five low voltage teams working in parallel to upgrade the wireless network infrastructure. This involved deploying new access points and optimizing wireless coverage to ensure robust and reliable connectivity across all hospital facilities.
TMG Global also successfully migrated the entire network in a newly acquired hospital, ensuring seamless integration with the existing infrastructure and enhancing overall network performance.
With an expected completion date of late June, the dedicated team of professionals managed to complete the project ahead of schedule on May 23rd.
“This project highlights TMG Global’s commitment to delivering top-notch IT solutions with precision and efficiency. Our team’s ability to complete such a comprehensive upgrade ahead of schedule is a testament to their hard work and expertise,” stated Leyda Rivera, Senior Project Manager.
RMR Network Deliverables Project
TMG Global also successfully completed the RMR Network Deliverables project, enhancing healthcare network infrastructure through the installation of new circuits for two internet providers across 49 clinics, and a switch replacement program for over 150 clinics. It also includes a core network migration, the replacement of over 300 switches across five hospitals, and the replacement of over 15,000 patch cables in these hospitals. The project included detailed project management, network reports, and infrastructure analysis, culminating in improved network, rack elevations, and seamless integration for client satisfaction.
