A major communication upgrade impacting over 5,000 users across 355 locations is on track for completion by mid-November, marking a significant step in modernizing the firm’s nationwide operations.

A prominent financial services firm in Tampa Bay, Florida, is nearing the completion of a crucial communication infrastructure upgrade. This significant project, which began in January, involves transitioning from an outdated Avaya phone system to a modern, cloud-based Zoom platform. With the expert support of TMG Global, the communication infrastructure upgrade has already successfully transitioned 323 locations across 48 states, including the District of Columbia. The migration, which encompasses 355 locations and involves approximately 5,014 end users, is expected to conclude by mid-November with the completion of the remaining 32 sites.

TMG Global provided a comprehensive suite of services to ensure a smooth and seamless transition for all users. Their work included gathering essential data from the legacy system, supplying it to the Zoom platform for precise programming, and executing the cutover while decommissioning the old Avaya system. Understanding the critical role that communication plays for professionals at the firm, TMG Global also delivered white-glove service, including two rounds of end-user training, first-day support, and ongoing assistance to ensure uninterrupted operations.

The successful rollout of this communication infrastructure upgrade underscores the firm’s commitment to enhancing its communication capabilities. It ensures that all employees, across 48 states and the District of Columbia, have access to modern, reliable communication tools. The final phase of the communication infrastructure upgrade will mark the conclusion of this major initiative, set for completion by mid-November.
